As part of a major renovation of a stunning villa in portobello edinburgh, we were asked to fabricate and install a double concrete basin with drainers, alongside casting in situation a room length worktop.

Working closely witht the clients we suggested this luxourious tone of brown. With a young family in mind, we wanted to produce something hardy, future prof and unfussy.

The sinks were prefabricated in the workshop and the worktop cast seemlessly around the basins. The whole structure is supported on brick pillars, faced in natural plaster. This project demonstrates subtle but effective engineering. Giving a natural finish which fits perfectly with this beautiful and honest renovation.
